There are times when you will have engagements to attend, but readers want something to read. You know you do have something for them to read right there? As a blogger, you can post, letting them that you will be away for a certain number of days or hours etc. Promise to update or let them know that you have scheduled some useful posts within the time you will be away.
That should help in keeping the traffic you receive constant or growing. If you don’t do this, you may start noticing traffic decline because some may even think you have gone out of business and would simply remove your blog from their bookmarks.
